Spent the day at Vivocity to get my son's mind off his dad's absence. I guess I thought it would be a whole lot easier than it actually was...Since my son is fast moving from his terrible 2s to horrendous 3s, every trip is a nightmare if I want to do something that doesn't involve eating at KFC. McD, Burger King or any other such joint and running or rather dashing after him in malls. I am definitely getting a leash soon...I don't care what people think about me anymore.
Anyway so spent today as usual watching him get on all those rip-off rides and spent a good S$15 for hardly 10mins on all the rides all-together. But love Vivocity, esp during CNY celebration time. I wish I had the chance to watch some of the amazing performances that were going on there.
Anyway, the point of the day was for my son to have fun...and boy did he burn off steam. 2secs after the 2nd foto was taken, he had walked right into the water and I had to rush in and do some damage control - meaning dry him off and get into him fresh clothes.Kids...their energy and resilience to bounce back (from all the tantrums and scoldings) is amazing. But the judgemental looks I got from the other parents around was slighlty embarassing.
PS: Didn't upload any pics yest as I took all the pic using my camcorder and the pro that I am (NOT) with these things, I am still trying to figure out where those pics are on the camcorder. Will probably have to wait for my hubby to help me out once he is back***feeling very sheepish about this***
